Why is gambit immune to rogue

At the time, Gambit knew what he was doing was questionable at best, yet he continued to do it. Only after falling in love with Rogue does Ultimate Gambit try to escape the Struckers. Apocalypse has transformed many X-Men members into his famous Horseman of the Apocalypse, but few have been as willing as Gambit. Luckily, the Exiles were given the chance to reverse these fates by going on missions to different Earths throughout the Multiverse. Clearly, Magnus cared about the lives of others, with his special suit and his sacrifice acting as outward symbols of his nature as a hero. Still, seeing what can happen when powerhouses like Rogue and Magneto decide to have kids is sure to leave fans interested in what lies ahead for the X-Men. Gambit is not immune to Rogue. She is currently in control of her powers, so she can touch anyone right now. Colossus is usually immune to her when he is in his metal form, but that depends on the writer.

Before they were wiped from existence, Rogue grabbed Gambit for a kiss and they held each other as they faced oblivion. Gambit was scheduled for release on March 13, , but development of the film was placed on hold due to the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney.
