Thread starter CaiusTse Start date Dec 15, CaiusTse Member Chinese,Cantonese. I know the use of "do me a favour" is acceptable in informal situations. Also we can use phrases like "ask you a favour" , "own you a favour" and "do yourself a favour", but can we say "do you a favour"??
I am not sure that "Can I do you a favor" has the same meaning as "Can I help you".
